A star MU has seriously considered selling will not leave the club this summer, and that name is revealed as Andrre Onana.
The elimination of players no longer works is as important as recruiting rookies in MU this summer. For many years, the wrong moves in the transfer market have caused the consequences for the club, making them go through the worst season in the past half century.
The reconstruction under Ruben Amorim began in January this year with the appearance of Patrick Dorgu. Maheus CuHa has been closed and Bryan Mbeumo will be the next.
However, MU could not spend strongly this summer without selling a series of famous players. Jadon Sancho, Antony, Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho can leave if they receive appropriate offers. Rasmus Hojlund is also on the list of for sale, but only when a striker is recruited.
In the opposite yard, MU also considered eliminating goalkeeper Andrre Onana, who often made mistakes. Reporter Ben Jacobs previously revealed that MU “openly” with every situation arises with Onana.
Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez is the goalkeeper who is most connected to the Red Devils, while Onana also received attention from Monaco and Saudi Arabia's Neom Club.
However, according to Nathan Salt of The Daily Mail – the person who specializes in MU – “no real chance” from Old Trafford that Onana will be sold. Answering a post on X asked whether Onana would stay, Salt added: “It is a consistent message during the summer about Onana. There is no real expectation he will leave.”
In an ideal world, MU will replace Onana, who in two years in the UK has shown the best form is unstable and worst is disaster. However, not being able to attend the Champions League has made the financial tightness of the club and other positions in the squad being prioritized.
