Viktor Gyokeres is willing to give up 2 million euros of wages to come to Arsenal

Striker Viktor Gyokeres accepted to sacrifice a contract with Sporting Lisbon, namely 2 million euros salary, to promote the transfer to Arsenal.

Gyokeres is doing everything to join Arsenal

Arsenal is speeding up the negotiation process with Sporting to recruit the Swedish striker, after being frustrated by RB Leipzig by the high price for Benjamin Sesko.

Gyokeres during this summer showed the desire to join the Gunners and are doing everything to complete the deal moving to North London. According to Record, in addition to being supposed to refuse to return to Lisbon for the meeting before the season, the striker is also willing to give up 2 million euros (1.7 million pounds) salary to help the two parties easily reach an agreement.

Arsenal and Sporting have negotiated Gyokeres for months but have not yet agreed on the transfer fee. The Swedish player was very angry when the Portuguese team resolutely accepted the price of 80 million euros (£ 67.5 million) to agree to let him leave.

However, everything is progressing more smoothly and the two sides are thought to reach an agreement. The fact that Gyokeres actively reduces wages makes the negotiation process close to the end.

The summer blockbuster deal is about to come to an end

Since moving from Coventry, Gyokeres has scored 68 goals and created 17 times after 66 matches in the Portuguese league (Liga Portugal) for Sporting. He also has 6 more goals after 8 appearances in the Champions League in this team shirt. Despite trying to leave, Gyokeres's contributions to Sporting will certainly not be forgotten by the fans.

Gyokeres will almost certainly become Arsenal's rookie and will participate in the pre -season trip. He can play with new contracts such as Kepa Arrizabalaga and Martin Zubimendi in friendly matches against AC Milan, Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur in Asia – and may have more rookies to join the Gunners squad.

Gyokeres even started dreaming about the Premier League debut in Arsenal shirt – and especially against the old teacher Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.
