Striker Callum Wilson closed the 5 -year journey to wear Newcastle United after the contract maturity.
Callum Wilson joined Newcastle in 2020 from Bournemouth for a fee of 20 million pounds, before the club was taken over by the Saudi Arabic Public Investment Fund (PIF).
During the time of playing at St James' Park, Wilson scored 49 goals in 130 matches, including 4 appearances in the Champions League season 2023/24. He also participated in the final of the League Cup last season, when Newcastle defeated Liverpool to win the first title after 70 years of waiting.

After the contract maturity at the end of June, the striker became a free player and recently spoke emotional farewell to NHM: “To the Magpies, it is time to say goodbye after the wonderful years at 'Toon'.

After breaking up with Wilson, Newcastle will have to look for a new striker as a backup plan for Alexander Isak, when next season, Chieu Cham will attend the Champions League arena.
