Coach Cesc Fagregas's como made a proposal worth 20 million euros to recruit center -back Davinson Sanchez from Galatasaray, confirming the team's ambition on the summer transfer market 2025.
Como is willing to pay 18 million euros and an additional 2 million euros of bonuses based on achievements for the Colombian center -back. The number that the club from Serie A offers is considered an attractive offer, especially when Galatasaray only had to spend 9.5 million euros to sign a contract with Sanchez from Tottenham in September 2023.
Sanchez's current contract with Galatasaray lasted until June 2027, with an additional extension option for one more year, but the offer from Como could convince the Turkish team to sell at the summer transfer period 2025.
Aiming at Sanchez is a testament to Como's ambition in the new season. They not only want to relegation at all costs but set goals further in Serie A 2025/26 as well as in the future.
With experience in Ajax, Tottenham and Galatasaray, and the ability to play versatile football, Sanchez is expected to bring certainty to the defense of Como, which conceded 48 goals in the Serie A 2024/25 season.
In addition, coach Cesc Fabregas highly appreciated the ability to read the match, the strength and the spiritual spirit of Sanchez. He considered him an ideal piece to upgrade the squad.
If the deal is successful, Como will become the most powerful Serie A club in the summer transfer window 2025.
