Galatasaray successfully recruited Victor Osimhen for 80 million euros


Galatasaray is creating an impressive summer transfer when officially reached the agreement to recruit striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli with a total value of up to 80 million euros. This is a big turning point for the ambition to return to the European peak of the Turkish team.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray will pay 40 million euros immediately, 35 million euros after a year and an additional 5 million euros bonuses depending on achievement. Napoli also plugged 10% of the resale fee in the future and the Osimhen conditions were not transferred to an Italian club for two years.

Osimhen agreed to a 4 -year contract with a salary of up to 18 million euros/year, thereby becoming one of the highest paid players in the history of Galatasaray. Last season, he played for Galatasaray himself in the form of loan and scored 37 goals, contributing greatly to help the team win a domestic double including Super Lig and the National Cup.

The 26 -year -old striker used to be an expensive contract of Napoli when he joined Lille for 80 million euros by 2020. In the shirt of the southern team of Italy, he scored 76 goals after 133 matches and contributed greatly in the Serie A championship season 2022/23.

Galatasaray is also contacting to buy Ederson of Man City

After completing the Osimhen recruitment, Galatasaray began to approach Man City's goalkeeper Ederson. According to Sky Sports, the Brazilian goalkeeper agreed on the principle of joining the Turkish team. Although he has not been officially contacted between the two clubs, Ederson is said to be very interested in this deal when he has only one year of contract with Man City.

Although the Man City side has a price of Ederson at 15 million euros, Galatasaray's initial offer is only about 3 million euros. However, with the willingness of the player and the contract term is about to end, the two parties can reach a reasonable agreement in the coming days.

If recruiting successfully both Osimhen and Ederson, Galatasaray will have two leading European stars in the squad, ready to compete in the Champions League next season and affirm the new position on the old continental football map.
