According to the source from O Jogo, Chelsea agreed with the proposal worth about 20 million euros from Benfica for 50% of the ownership of Joao Felix, lower than the 30 million euros they used to. However, Chelsea is accompanied by a key condition: Benfica must commit to buy the remaining 50% notes in the next few years to make sure the Stamford Bridge team recovers the majority of the investment of 52 million euros.

Although only 25 years old, the Portuguese player's career has passed down. Once expected to be the jewel of Portuguese football, but the adventure in Barcelona, Chelsea and the nearest AC Milan all left disappointment. Last season, Felix only scored 3 goals after 21 matches, the figure was too modest compared to the talented natural talent.

Now, Felix is looking for a way back to the old roof, where he once shone brightly before moving to Atletico. Benfica is considered an ideal fulcrum for him to regenerate his career. He accepted to reduce wages to about 3 million euros/year, on par with the pillars like Nicolas Otamendi, accompanied by rewards depending on achievement.

As for Chelsea, under coach Enzo Maresca, the team did not plan to hold Felix. They want to resolve this deal soon in a reasonable manner. Currently, the Portuguese striker is practicing separately and waiting for the green light to return to Portugal, to reunite the former teammates in Estadio Da Luz. If Benfica approves the terms of future purchases, the Felix deal will soon close.
