Arsenal is approaching the announcement of a new contract, right after reaching an agreement to recruit striker Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting.
Recently, the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano announced that Arsenal has achieved the most important step in the signature of Gyokeres.
Specifically, Arsenal will have to spend 63.5 million euros prepaid, plus 10 million euros variables for Sporting. From Gyokeres, the representative of the Swedish striker was forced to lower the commission in this deal so everything could be done.
And as revealed from Football London, right after welcoming the good news in the Gyokeres case, Arsenal was about to complete the deal of the Spanish midfielder, Cristhian Mosquera.
The 21 -year -old can play both in the center -back and right -back, and will fly to Singapore in the next few days for the army and the new teammates at the summer tour. Mosquera is considered a direct replacement for Takehiro Tomiyasu, who has just terminated the contract with the club according to personal aspirations.
Sharing before the press, coach Mikel Arteta said: “Bringing new faces is like shaking the whole system, creating a new source of energy. These rookies are an important contract. Each team will feel that they have to raise themselves to another level. That's what we are aiming for.”
So far in the summer of 2025, Arsenal brought 4 rookies including Martin Zubimendi, Noni Madueke, Christian Norgaard and Kepa.
