The peak of Nguyen Tien Minh arrived in 2013 when he won the historic medal at the world championship in Guangzhou (China). This is the best achievement of Vietnamese badminton in the world arena, and so far no one has been able to break. The player born in 1983 has surpassed many rivals to reach the semi -finals, before giving up before Lin Dan, the legend of Chinese badminton.
Not only excellent play, Tien Minh also rose to the 5th place in the world in December 2010, an unprecedented miracle of Vietnamese badminton. He is also a rare player to maintain the top level of competition for a long time, participating in three consecutive Olympic Games (2008, 2012, 2016) and won many championships in the Challenge and Grand Prix system.
