MU is showing the positive in the summer market this year, when urgently completed three contracts to strengthen the team.
This will be an important summer transfer period for MU, after a disappointing season. MU ended in the bottom half of the 2024/25 Premier League rankings and was not eligible to attend the European Cup new season. MU completed the first contract after Mathius Cunha joined the £ 62.5 million contract from Wolves, while the negotiations were taking place on a contract for Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo.
According to journalist Rudy Galetti, MU is now ready to pay 63 million pounds plus the surcharges to officially sign a contract with Brentford striker MBEumo. Previous personal terms have been preliminary agreement, and the final details with Brentford are expected to be completed soon.
Coach Ruben Amorim also wants to add a striker to his squad, with many different options being considered in the early stages of this summer. However, not only the first team, MU will recruit some young talents and the agreements will be completed next week. Specifically, Diego Leon will join from Cerro Porteno after reaching an agreement to sign his contract in January, while Enzo Kana-Biyik will come from Le Havre. MU also agreed to sign a contract with the young Harley Emdene-James of Southampton when his contract expired by the end of this month.
