Center -back Pham Ly Duc joined CAHN

CAHN reached an agreement specializing in Pham Ly Duc in mid -July. However, the armed forces team had to wait for Ly Duc to finish the U23 Southeast Asia 2025 and U23 Vietnam to officially announce this deal. Only one day later Ly Duc returned to U23 Vietnam after the U23 Southeast Asia Championship, CAHN launched this rookie.

“Following the success at U23 Southeast Asia with the convincing championship of U23 Vietnam, Pham Ly Duc officially started a new chapter in his career when joining the Hanoi Police Club, where he will continue to develop, dedicate and conquer new challenges in the red shirt,” CAHN announced on the homepage.

Pham Ly Duc is the fifth rookie of CAHN before the new season. Earlier, the police team had the signature of Adou Minh, Tran Dinh Tien (Ha Tinh), Vu Tuyen Quang (Becamex Ho Chi Minh City), Rogerio and the overseas Vietnamese midfielder Brandon Ly. Joining CAHN, Ly Duc is considered a quality addition of CAHN's defense before the new season. In the center of the center -back, Coach Polking has the top good center -backs of V.League such as Viet Anh, Dinh Trong, Tuan Duong, Gomes, Adou Minh and Ly Duc.

Ly Duc was born in 2003 trained at PVF Football Center before participating in HAGL Nutifood Academy in Dong Thap. In 2023, this player started playing professionally in the Ba Ria Vung Tau club shirt in the First Division. He had the main kick in two consecutive seasons before returning to HAGL and launched V.League. Ly Duc soon became the phenomenon of HAGL season 2024/25 when it played 20 matches, with 3 goals and 1 assist.

Thanks to the impressive form, Ly Duc was planned by coach Kim Si Sik from U23 to the Vietnam national team. He is the vice captain of U23 Vietnam that has just won the U23 champion of Southeast Asia 2025 in Indonesia.

Before Ly Duc, 7 players broke up with HAGL. 5 players include Chau Ngoc Quang, Tran Bao Toan, Dung Nho, Quang Vinh, now Zi Dan, to Ninh Binh. Brandao and Tran Minh Vuong left freely. The departure of Ly Duc will definitely greatly affect the power of HAGL's defense in the new season.
