Former Real Madrid superstar, Gareth Bale has extinguished rumors of pursuing a professional golf career, and declined to comment on the possibility of acquiring the home team Cardiff when asked.
Bale rejected the idea of becoming a professional golfer, watching his skillful golf skills now a temporary passion. The former 36 -year -old former player was discovered at the Aig Women's Open, organized near the place he was born in Royal Porthcawl. However, when BBC Sport Wales asked whether he would ever consider pursuing this sport full of time, Bale confirmed that golf would still be a relaxing entertainment activity.
“When you play golf and witness professional golfers playing, even when compared to those who are not the best, they will not penetrate.
“However, I love this sport. I like to watch it, I like to play and that's why I'm here,” Bale added.
Regarding the habit of playing golf, Bale said: “I try to play twice a week if possible. If I have another training session, it is always a reward.”
Regarding Bale, a member of a corporation who has the ambition to take over the Cardiff Cardiff Club – the former Real Madrid star said: “This is an interesting news, we have just received a completely new offer. We think this is a great offer, a proposal that we are very satisfied.”
“We think this is very fair, if not more than justice, and we hope the current owners will seriously do this. We are looking forward to they accept so we can take control of and do what we want to do, and turn Cardiff into a club that we want,” Bale emphasized.
Cardiff's current owner, Vincent Tan is said to not be interested in selling clubs, although Bale is still optimistic that an agreement can come true in the future. This event took place when Cardiff was about to launch in League One on Saturday, welcoming Peterborough in the opening match of the new season.
