Entering the 2025/26 season, Viettel can show the determination to refresh the squad when recruiting 3 outstanding overseas Vietnamese players: Damian Vu Thanh An, Kyle Colonna and Duong Thanh Tung. All 3 have a well -trained foundation in Europe, possessing ideal bodybuilding and especially the spirit of willingness to devote to the traditional red shirt.
They are expected to bring breakthroughs both in the middle, defense and attack of the soldier team. This is also the first time in history, Viettel can use the overseas Vietnamese player in the squad.
Damian Vu Thanh An, a young midfielder with the desire to return to the roots. Damian Vu Thanh An was born in 2003 in Poland, the son of a family whose father is Vietnamese and his mother is Polish. Playing in the attacking midfielder, Damian owns a height of 1m83 and a modern, dynamic and creative gameplay. He started his professional career at the age of 16 in Poland, showing the early quality and long -term development potential.
The second Vietnamese rookie is Kyle Colonna, a player last season wearing a Hanoi club.
