HAGL said goodbye to Brandao, planning to add three new strikers, including the return of young striker Nguyen Quoc Viet.

After the departure of 4 pillars, Tran Minh Vuong, Chau Ngoc Quang, Tran Bao Toan and Dung Nho, HAGL Club continued to announce the break up of the Brazilian striker – Washington Brandao. The striker joined HAGL in January 20225. After 16 matches, Brandao had 6 goals for the mountain town team. However, at the age of 35, Brandao no longer maintains full physical strength as a support for the attack. This forced HAGL to look for a more fuller striker, more powerful for the new season.

At this time, HAGL had only two foreign soldiers, center -back Jairo and striker Marciel. The team will search for two more foreign soldiers to complete the new frame before the new season. Not only refreshing foreign soldiers, HAGL also welcomes the return of Nguyen Quoc Viet, the striker is considered as one of the best young strikers in Vietnam today.

After the impressive season in Ninh Binh's shirt in the First Division, Quoc Viet was recalled to play for HAGL in V.League 2025/26. Quoc Viet shows great maturity in recent years. This helped the 22 -year -old striker were trusted by coach Kim Sang Sik to summon the national team in the match against Malaysia.

The return of Quoc Viet brings great hope to HAGL. Along with the newly arrived foreign soldiers, Quoc Viet is expected to help HAGL's attack in V.League 2025/26. In addition to welcoming Quoc Viet back to Pleiku, HAGL will also add a middle line personnel with a familiar face in Ham Rong – midfielder Hoang Vinh Nguyen.

Hoang Vinh Nguyen is a product of Nutifood Academy. The midfielder was later brought to the Ho Chi Minh City Club to play in the V.League. In the color of the unified team, the original midfielder Ha Tinh was highly appreciated by coach Vu Tien Thanh. He also had a short -term training in Spain and received positive reviews from indigenous coaches.

As planned, HAGL will return to the training in early July. The team will attend the LPBank Cup training tournament with Ninh Binh, Ha Tinh and Korean teams before continuing to have an important training trip in Thailand.
