MU has been warned that the £ 74 million Benjamin Sesko contract may fail like Darwin Nunez in Liverpool.
Benjamin Sesko completed the £ 74 million transfer deal to Old Trafford earlier this month, after refusing to pay attention from Newcastle United. The Slovenian player attracted the attention of some major clubs after two impressive seasons at RB Leipzig, where he scored 39 goals after 87 appearances.
Sesko had the Premier League debut in the match against Arsenal, on the pitch in the second half in MU's 0-1 defeat to the Gunners. The 22 -year -old was signed a contract to help solve the problem of MU scoring and replace Rasmus Hojlund, who has gone through the gloomy time in Manchester since moving from Atalanta for £ 72 million.

But former German midfielder Dietmar Hamann warned the Red Devils that Sesko was quite similar to Liverpool's failure contract, Darwin Nunez. The Uruguayan star came to Anfield in 2022, but was sold early this summer after a disappointing time at Merseyside. Hamann said:
“I am not sure if MU fans want to hear this, but I think Benjamin Sesko is a player quite similar to Darwin Nunez. I think Sesko can be shaped, height, speed. I think he has the ability to touch the ball better than Nunez.
Technically, he is a very talented player, but also an energetic young man. Nunez is probably the one I want to compare with him in recent years. I think his ability to finish is probably a little better than Nunez, but he needs to prove it. He used to do that in Leipzig, but now he is really noticed at MU.
Obviously, we have also seen a number of big names that have come to MU over the past 10 years as the striker and they have not succeeded. It will not be an easy task, but I think he can do it. ”
Sesko may have the first main kick in the Premier League for MU on Sunday when the Reds came to Craven Cottage to confront Fulham.
