Hanoi FC has officially confirmed the break up of assistant coach Yi Chang Yeob after the V.League season 2024/25. The Korean expert, who used to be the right arm of coach Makoto Teguramori, took on the role of technical analysis since the Japanese strategist came to Vietnam.

Earlier, Mr. Yi accompanied Teguramori at BG Pathum (Thailand) and Vegalta Sendai (Japan), carrying a thick experience. The departure of Mr. Yi is part of the restructuring plan of the coaching committee in the direction of “Japan Hoa” of Hanoi FC.
Replacing the position of Yi Chang Yeob, Hanoi FC appointed former J-League player, Hiroki Bandai as a new assistant. At the same time, the capital team is negotiating with Yusuke Adachi, who used to play the role of technical director at VFF for more than two years and is now the General Director of Binh Phuoc Club, to take on the same position in Hang Day. These moves show the ambition to raise the professional level of Hanoi FC.
Under the guidance of coach Makoto Teguramori from February 2025, Hanoi FC reached the runner -up position V.League 2024/25, confirming the impression with technical play, controlling the ball in accordance with the traditional identity.
