Roma focuses on Chelsea after missing Sancho

Roma abandoned Jadon Sancho, the player was removed from the plan by Man United. Instead, they are focusing on recruiting stars of Liverpool and Chelsea.

Roma decided to withdraw from Sancho's recruitment deal

Sancho was contacted by some clubs this summer when his career at Man United seemed to end. Last season this player played for Chelsea on loan, but the Blues decided not to sign a long -term contract with him, although there was a mandatory provision.

The British international player is not in the plan of coach Ruben Amorim in the first team, eliminated from the matches before the season and was asked to find a new club. However, that is facing difficulties when Sancho earns about 300,000 pounds a week at Old Trafford, the salary that any party is interested in him can meet.

Roma really wants to reach an agreement with a 25 -year -old, but according to sources in Italy, the transfer to the capital Rome is no longer feasible. Sports Director Frederic Massara of Roma met Sancho's representative on Tuesday in London and the negotiation was unsuccessful. This is not the first meeting between Roma BLD and this winger, when Massara said that Sancho was not very interested in previous meetings.

Failure to recruit Sancho forcing Roma to take care of other goals. Olimpico team still hopes to reach an agreement with young player Tyrique George of Chelsea and Liverpool left -back Kostas Tsimikas.

Tyrique George is on his way to Rome

The 19 -year -old George winger is Roma's target after they missed Sancho. George had 26 appearances for the Blues in all competitions last season but did not meet the requirements in this campaign. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that negotiations with George were much better than Sancho and a long -term agreement being conducted because the young player did not want to be lent.

On the Chelsea side, this team is also ready to let the British U19 player go, but they will add a term of acquisition at a preferential price to the contract.

Meanwhile, the transfer of Tsimikas has not yet been agreed because Roma wants the Greek defender to join in the form of loan with the option to buy, while Liverpool wants to sell off. The 29 -year -old is mainly a backup plan for Andy Robertson since moving from Olympiacos in 2020, but he has fallen since Milos Kerkez has joined in the summer.

Nottingham also noticed him, but Tsimikas wanted to move to Roma if he could reach an agreement.
