Sources from Spain revealed that striker Robert Lewandowski is the goal of a major transfer offer from two Saudi Pro League teams this summer.
The veteran Polish striker had the most successful season from moving to Barca. He has now scored 101 goals after 147 appearances in 3 seasons.
The 2024/25 season witnessed Lewandowski's best scoring achievement in a season in Spain, with 27 goals in La Liga and 42 goals in all competitions, only a little behind Kylian Mbappe of Real Madrid in the Pichichi Award.
However, the rumors of continuous transfer revolves around the future of Lewandowski continues to appear. However, he is said to have rejected all offers and affirmed that he only wanted to stay in Barca until the end of the contract.
The 33 -year -old striker still contracted with Barca until June 2026 with an option to extend 12 months. He decided to return to international competition this month after the injury once affected the start of the campaign.
Sources in August said Lewandowski refused to sign a contract worth 100 million euros per season to come to Saudi Arabia. This is confirmed by the representative of Pini Zahavi and even named the two teams contacting his client.
Through an investment fund, Al Hilal and Al Nassr of Cristiano Ronaldo are the clubs contacted with Zahavi to discuss the Lewandowski deal. Professionals quickly reported that Lewandowski had no intention of leaving immediately, but Zahavi still left this possibility and would probably come back in 2026.
“There will be no change in Lewandowski's plan in the coming months, when he wants to regain the best physical strength to play for the club and the national team. He is determined to win more titles at Barca, maybe in the fourth season and also his last season. Along with leading Poland to the World Cup again,” Zahavi representative emphasized.
