The player Pickleball Quang Duong is proving his special talent. On the Asian Pickleball rankings, this Vietnamese -original player dominated both contents.
Pickleball Asia is witnessing an absolute dominant name: Quang Duong. The 19 -year -old player continued to hold the top spot on both men's and men's singles charts according to the Continental Rankings DuPR system.
With 6,865 points in single and 6,638 points at double (as of June 10, 2025), he is far ahead of the rest. The second player, Eric Roddy, was exceeded 441 points by Quang Duong, and his compatriot Phuc Huynh was no less competitive when he held a third place, only 12 points behind Roddy.
Born in Manhattan Beach (California, USA), Quang Duong used to play tennis and paddle tennis before moving to Pickleball in 2023. And since then like fish, Quang Duong played 339 matches through 49 prizes, and the shock of the big name Ben Johns twice in 2024, is a testament to the rapid promotion. He also won the gold medal at Houston Open 2024, contributing to affirming its position in the world level.
Despite the penalty of $ 50,000 from UPA for participating in a “outsourcing” tournament in Lao Cai in May 2025, Quang Duong's performance has not decreased. He still surpassed the formidable opponents like Armaan Bhatia (India) or Roddy himself (Philippines) to maintain the top of the table.
Worth mentioning, Pickleball Vietnam currently has two representatives in the top 10 Asian in the men's doubles, with the 6th DE (6,092 points). This is an extremely positive signal for the Pickleball movement in Vietnam – where Quang Duong once expressed his desire to play with his younger brother Bao Duong (13 years old) in future regional tournaments, as exclusively revealed on Tatler Asia.
In the near future, Quang Duong will return to the fierce arena at PPA Tour in the US, with a large series of prizes such as:
• Bristol Open (5-10/8, tennessee)
• Open at the las Vegas Strip (27-31/8, Nevada)
• Veolia Cincinnati Slam (September 8-14, Ohio)
• Pickleball Central Sacralo Vintage Open (September 17-21, California)
He is expected to take a short break to recover before flying back to the US in early August, ready to fight and notable names like Tyson McGuffin – the world's No. 36 player today.
