MU was banned from buying Nice's goalkeeper in an effort to find Andrre Onana

According to the British press, UEFA banned MU recruiting Nice's goalkeeper Marcin Bulka in the plan to replace Andrre Onana.

Marcin Bulka is not allowed to come to MU this summer

According to statistics, Andrre Onana has been the most serious goalkeeper in the Premier League since joining MU in the summer of 2023. The Cameroon goalkeeper has also been considered inappropriate for the system of Ruben Amorim coach.

Therefore, Amorim, though not speaking out, really want to replace Onana in the near future, if there is a chance. In addition to the Aston Villa Emiliano Martinez and Porto's Diogo Costa, MU also targets Nice's Marcin Bulka.

The first 2 goalkeepers cost no less than 40 million pounds. So MU is leaning towards Bulka. Last season, Bulka played excellent to help Nice reach the fourth finish, only 1 point less than the Champions League group.

However, MU will not be able to recruit Polish goalkeepers this summer because of the rule that the Reds and Nice themselves agreed with UEFA from the previous summer.

Bulka is difficult to join MU

Specifically, UEFA allowed MU and Nice to attend the Europa League in the 2024/25 season even though both clubs were owned by Ineos Group owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, but they had to comply with very clear conditions.

The UEFA announcement then clearly stated: “Clubs will not be transferred to each other, whether loan or buy, directly or indirectly, from July 2024 to September 2025, except for the agreements signed from before this rule. The clubs are not signed cooperation, technical agreement or trade together.

Because of the above reason, MU could not recruit center-back Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice last summer. Finally, the French player joined West Ham on loan before signing a long -term contract in early June.
