At the Pickleball King Friendship Open on the afternoon of July 5, a male athlete suddenly rushed into the yard and used an arbitration racket right after a controversial situation.
Specifically, in a “in/out” phase difficult to identify, referee A. (34 years old) decided to let the two teams compete to ensure fairness. However, the male athlete named C. (28 years old) – who belonged to the team had just lost points after that situation – did not keep calm. He suddenly responded loudly, then held the racket to hit the referee before the stunnings of the audience and the athletes present at the yard.
Referee A. Fortunately use reflexes to protect the head area, avoiding serious injuries. The stands immediately disturbed, many people rushed into the intervention, forcing the organizers to pause the match to control the situation.
