MU hunts the target to replace Casemiro only 5 million pounds

MU is actively looking for a new central midfielder when they plan to sell casemiro this summer. One of the goals that the Red Devils to the eye is Wilfred Ndidi – the pillar of Leicester.

MU is targeting ndidi

The Nigerian player currently has a provision of only £ 9 million after Leicester relegates the Premier League, and the actual fee is said to be only about 5 million pounds – too much for a name that has 220 matches in the Premier League.

The source from Teamtalk confirmed that Everton was also interested in NDIDI, while Man United was also following the development of this deal. In addition, there are some contacts from Saudi Arabia, but Julius Aguhowa, who used to be NDIDI's teammate, confirmed that the 28 -year -old star wanted to be transferred to MU.

“Although Everton and Al-Ahli are also interested, NDIDI hopes to join Man United. He wants to take a step in his career by joining a big club like MU,” Aguhowa shared on Africa Foot.

“It will be a great turning point for one of the best African central midfielders in recent years. He is strong, good pressing, good ball recovery and can expand the space with smart cross -field moves.”

NDIDI only has a very low price

MU has signed a contract with striker Matheus Cuha from Wolves and will have more rookies in the near future. Their current priority is to recruit Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, despite twice denied with the highest offer of up to 55 million pounds with £ 7.5 million.

In terms of midfield, Casemiro's future is still unclear when the salary of £ 350,000/week is a big barrier if he wants to push him to Saudi Arabia. However, even when Casemiro stayed, coach Ruben Amorim could still recruit a central midfielder left by Christian Eriksen.

NDIDI is a cheap, quality and reasonable plan in the context that MU still has to comply with PSR financial rules. He can compete for the main stone position with Casemiro (if staying), Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo in the middle of the next season.

Everton has not yet made an official move, so the race is still open. But obviously, Man United has a great advantage, especially when NDIDI himself has goodwill to join Old Trafford.
