Arsenal risk losing Benjamin Sesko in Al Hilal's hands

Arsenal is showing the delay in the Benjamin Sesko deal, though Leipzig has dropped. And Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia took advantage of that opportunity to pursue the striker of RB Leipzig.

Sesko is capable of joining Al Hilal

Benjamin Sesko has not been able to join Arsenal despite having many rumors about that deal during the summer transfer window 2025. However, negotiations between Arsenal and Leipzig have not yet progressed. Even so, the biggest problem between the two sides is still the transfer fee

Initially, the price of Sesko from Leipzig ranges from 80 to 100 million euros, causing Arsenal to suspend the deal and seek alternatives like Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon.

However, Leipzig has shown goodwill when lowering the price to 70 million euros, but Arsenal has not made a drastic move to conduct an negotiation. London Club recently surprised Madueke successfully.

With the cost of buying Madueke, Norgaard, Zubimendi, while not selling any player this summer, the Gunners are having difficulty mobilizing capital for Sesko or GykooSes.

Does Sesko want to join Al Hilal?

Facing the slow situation of Arsenal, Al Hilal Club began to care about Sesko, especially after the No. 1 goal Victor Osimhen could join Galatasaray. Al Hilal is trying to persuade Sesko to move to Saudi Arabia and they are a great opponent of Arsenal in this deal.

The Sesko side still has a positive attitude and does not put pressure on Leipzig to complete the deal. His representative also confirmed that he would not force the host club to sell him even though the terms were beneficial to his client.

In addition, in the shortened list to buy Al Hilal striker, there is Crystal Palace's Jean-Philippe Mateta. The French player scored 17 goals for the London Southern Club, the team won the FA Cup last season and was eligible to attend the Europa League.

Al Hilal is the most successful club in Saudi Arabia and owns stars like Joao Cancelo, Kalidou Koulibaly and Ruben Neves in the squad. And yet, Al Hilal is still being led by coach Simone Inzaghi.
