Liverpool rejected the offer to start 67.5 million euros from Bayern for Luis Diaz, and confirmed that the Colombian player was not for sale.
Earlier, the German champion had approached Liverpool about the case of Diaz Song who was rejected, and now they return to an official offer for the 28 -year -old.
However, Liverpool considers Diaz as a key factor in coach Arne Slot's plan for the next season, especially after he has scored 17 goals last season, contributing to the team to win the Premier League.
Diaz plays outstanding in both positions: the left wing and striker, and his current contract is still valid until 2027.
Liverpool said that Diaz's real value exceeded 100 million euros, a figure used both in financial statements and to refer to other star deals in the Premier League and the international transfer market.
Liverpool is also aware that Diaz has been interested in Saudi Pro League clubs, including Al Hilal – the team who is ready to spend 100 million euros to recruit Bruno Fernandes, although the Portuguese midfielder is 30 years old – 2 years older than Diaz.
Barca also expressed interest in the former Porto player, but Liverpool made it clear that Diaz was not “available” to negotiate.
Later, Barca turned to Nico Williams, but the Spanish player decided to stay in Bilbao. MU's Marcus Rashford is also in the list of the Camp Nou team.
On Bayern's side, they needed a winger to replace Leroy Sane, who had just joined Galatasaray on the form of free transfer. At the same time, the legend of the club – Thomas Muller – also left the team, and Jamal Musiara will be absent in the first few months of the season due to injury.
