Recently, the Barcelona Club officially announced the Marcus Rashford contract on loan, before the team attended the Asian tour.
Marcus Rashford completed the loan contract from Man United, and affirmed that Barcelona was a place where dreams became a reality. The agreement between the two clubs with the option to buy in the summer next year, with the price of 30 million euros, although both Barca and Man United did not confirm this number.
In the new team, the striker born in 1997 will wear the number 14 shirt. Rashford also becomes the second English player wearing Barcelona, after Gary Lineker in 1986. Speaking on Barca TV, Rashford shared: “I am really excited. This is a dream club in reality. I feel like I'm at home, and this is an important factor in the decision coming here. For me, Barcelona is a family club, where good players can freely show their talents.”

The British star also revealed that coach Hansi Flick plays an important role in this deal: “The conversation with the coach is another factor. His first season is wonderful, leading a young team to success and continues to desire to do more this season. That shows everything I used to think about the club is right.”
Barca has kept an eye on Rashford since January and as revealed by the DECO sports director in May, a left -wing striker is a top priority. Nico Williams and Luis Diaz are also on the target list, but Williams extended the contract with Athletic Bilbao and Liverpool refused to propose to Diaz, causing Barca to turn to Rashford.
“I was clear with my wishes from the beginning in January. When everything was not smooth, I went to the villa and had a good time there.”Rashford added.
Rashford will add strength to the inherent attack of Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Lewandowski, Ferran Torres and Dani Olmo. Barca under Flick won the domestic treble (La Liga, Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup), but still failed in the Champions League when being eliminated by Inter Milan in the semi -finals.
