Tyrell Malacia is approaching to end the “forgotten” time at Man United, when the Elche Club is promoting the effort to recruit this left -back.
According to information from Voetbal International (Netherlands), Man United is in the process of negotiating with Elche about a loan agreement that lasts a season.
The Spanish team sent official proposals, while Malacia, 26, also showed interest in this stop to seek regular competition.
Previously, Malacia has received attention from many clubs in the summer transfer window, including Roma, Besiktas, Porto and Lille. However, all did not come to the final result. Notably, the “double” deal that brought both Malacia and Jadon Sancho to Roma collapsed, when both players rejected the original offer.
Currently, Elche has overcome the race, after convincing Malacia by a commitment to give him a stable main kick.
Since 2023, Malacia has only played 696 minutes in 12 matches for Man United. After joining from Feyenoord in 2022, the Dutch defender spent a long time sitting out of injury, causing him to miss the entire 2024/25 season before returning in November.
Last half of the season, he was borrowed by PSV but also only played 8 matches at Eredivisie, including 3 main kicks.
In the context of the transfer period is gradually closing, negotiating between Man United and Elche is expected to take place quickly. If the two parties reach an agreement, Malacia will play in Spain on a loan in the 2025/26 season.
