Arsenal announced rookie Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia


Arsenal has completed signing a contract with the young Spanish midfielder Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia under a long -term contract. The 20 -year -old is the 5th rookie docked at the Emirates in this summer.

According to Arsenal homepage, Mosquera signed a contract with a term of 5 years after passing the medical examination in London. Although the fee is not officially announced, British media such as Sky Sports and BBC revealed the transfer price of about 13 million pounds (15 million euros), with sub -terms that can increase the total value higher. He will immediately join the team at the tour before the season in Singapore.

Mosquera was born in Alicante (Spain) in a Colombian family. He entered Valencia Academy at the age of 12 and made his first match at the age of 17. Last season, Mosquera was one of the youngest central defenders playing in the top 5 tournaments in Europe. In the Valencia shirt, he played 90 matches in all competitions and scored 1 goal.

Mosquera is also the Spanish U21 player, who attended the European U21 tournament last summer.
