According to The Times, Marc Guhi will have to wait until the summer if the center -back of Crystal Palace wants to complete the movement to Liverpool.
Marc Guehi seems to be ready to move to Anfield on the last day of the summer transfer period 2025, after Liverpool agreed to agree worth 35 million pounds with Crystal Palace. The British player even undergo a medical examination before the transfer, but the agreement collapsed at the last minute because Palace could not find a replacement.
The eagle hoped to sign a contract with Brighton's defender, but instead he chose to switch to West Ham, which forced the London team to cancel his agreement to sell his captain to the port city team.

Before the summer transfer period, Guehi made it clear that he had no intention of signing the contract extension with Palace, currently the contract between the two sides was only limited to June 2026. And because he could not sell the 25 -year -old player in the summer, Palace is currently facing the prospect of losing the free transfer club leader next summer.
The London Club is hoping that Liverpool will return to the negotiating table in January, helping them avoid the white Guehi. But The Times reported that the Red Brigade would not reconsider the agreement with the center -back in January, they would only sign a contract with Guehi in the form of free transfer next summer.
Palace may find a way to negotiate with other teams in January, to ensure they collect some money from Guehi. Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are all interested in Guehi, while Man City is also considered to be interested in the British defender.
