Everton is said to have made unexpected offers worth 36 million euros (£ 31.5 million) and extra fees to sign a contract with Lyon's Malick Fofana.
The French newspaper L'Equipe reported that Everton could reach an agreement with the French Club of Malick Fofana. David Moyes's team is also discussing personal terms with Fofana.
Liverpool and Chelsea are believed to be related to the 20 -year -old winger at the beginning of the summer transfer period. Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Fulham also expressed interest in Fofana while Bayern Munich, Napoli and RB Leipzig also kept his eyes on him.

Fofana has played a total of 64 matches for Lyon so far, scoring 15 goals and 7 assists for Ligue 1 team. The Belgian player has helped Lyon to reach the Coupe De France in 2024 and assert itself as one of the brightest young talents in Europe.
Fofana joined Lyon from Gent in January 2024, the French club paid a transfer fee of 17 million euros plus 5 million euros to sign a contract with this player. Lyon wants at least 40 million euros (35 million pounds) for Fofana. Everton wanted to complete the agreement as soon as possible because this player received attention from other Premier League teams.
Fofana could become Everton's third contract in the summer of 2025, after the port city team recruited striker Therno Barry of Villarreal and goalkeeper Mark Travers of AFC Bournemouth. Carlos Alcaraz also joined Everton under long -term contracts after the lending time from Flamengo last season.
