The French midfielder has recently reached an agreement with AS Monaco and will sign a two -year contract, marking a spectacular re -export after 18 months of being suspended because of the use of banned substances.
Monaco recruited Paul Pogba in a free form
According to the prestigious Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Pogba agreed with the contract terms effective until 2027 and will fly to Monaco within 24 hours. The official signing ceremony is scheduled to take place this week. Monaco has overcome the competition from teams from Saudi Arabia and the American professional award to win Pogba's signature.
Notably, the 2018 World Cup champion accepted a significant salary reduction to carry out this deal, showing the determination to return to the peak of European football. Pogba rejected attractive offers, including Saudi Arabia's Al Ittihad Club, to stay in Europe and play the top.

Monaco was the third Ligue 1 team last season and won tickets to the Champions League, an important factor that made Pogba choose the Cong Quoc team, because he wanted to play in the most prestigious playground in Europe.
The return of Pogba took place after a volatile period, when he was detected positive for banned substances, in September 2023 in the match between Juventus and Empoli. Initially, the former MU star was banned for 4 years, but when appealing to the sports arbitration court (CAS), the penalty was reduced to 18 months.
The 32 -year -old midfielder ended his contract with Juventus last November and became a free player. During his suspension, Pogba maintained his personal training and recently posted a photo practice on Instagram with the message: “I think it's time”.
Pogba aims to not only find the peak performance, but also hope to return to France before the 2026 World Cup.
