Newcastle sent a new offer to RB Leipzig to ask for striker Benjamin Sesko.
The initial proposal worth 75 million euros plus 5 million euros fees were rejected by Leipzig because they did not meet the expectations, forcing Newcastle to raise the number to at least 80 million euros with 10 million euros.
MU is also interested in Sesko, but has not yet sent official proposals. According to the update from the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils informed Leipzig that they would send suggestions if Sesko nodded to join Old Trafford.
However, there has been no unity so far, because Leipzig can completely retain Sesko if they do not receive an appropriate agreement.
The priority of the Slovenian striker will play an important role. However, Leipzig did not intend to give in to the player's desire. Every interested team must meet the fee they require if they want to complete the deal.
Newcastle has pursued a 22 -year -old player for a long time and according to The Athletic revealed on 24/7, “Choi Chu” is seriously considering recruiting Sesko if Alexander Isak left, with Liverpool as a potential destination.
Liverpool has just been rejected the official proposal worth £ 110 million for Isak on Friday, but the Premier League champion still cares about the Swedish striker. Before that, they showed their desire to negotiate at about £ 120 million.
Back to Sesko, this striker attracted the attention of many big teams after the impressive season, scoring 21 goals in all arenas for Leipzig last season.
Man United sees Sesko as a priority target if they add a striker this summer. Arsenal had closely watched the Slovenian player before recruiting Viktor Gyokeres for a fee of 63.5 million euros plus 10 million euros surcharges. Chelsea has also been interested in Sesko for many years, but has chosen to recruit Liam Delap and Joao Pedro this summer.
Sesko renewed the contract with Leipzig last year to 2029. Although there was no clause, his contract was said to have a “hand -to -hand agreement”, that is, he could leave if there was a suitable project.
