LAFC Club officially confirmed that striker Son Heung Min has completed the transfer to the American professional (MLS).
The deal is worth about 26 million USD, a record number in MLS history. This fee broke the $ 22 million milestone that Atlanta United spent last winter to recruit striker Emmanuel Latte Lath.
The new LOFC's contract lasted until 2027, with the extension clause that could reach up to 2029. On the launch day of the club, the Korean striker expressed: “I am extremely proud to join LAFC, an ambitious club in one of the most iconic sports cities in the world. Los Angeles has a glorious sports history and I come here to write the next chapter. I am very excited with the new challenge at MLS. I come to La to win the title and dedicate it all to the club, city and NHM. I can't wait to start this journey.”

The last match of Son in Tottenham is a friendly match against Newcastle in her home country of Korea, just one day after he announced the end of the 10 -year -old predestined relationship with the London Club.

The 33 -year -old had a brilliant decade at Spurs, scoring 173 goals and 101 assists after 454 appearances in all competitions. He used to create a formidable pair of cards with Harry Kane, before Kane moved to Bayern Munich in 2023.
After the departure of Kane, Son became the new pillar of Tottenham and was handed the captain's armband by coach Ange Postecoglou after Hugo Lloris moved to MLS. Now, lipstick and Lloris will reunite at LafC.
Currently, LAFC is ranked 6th in the Western Group MLS, although there are still at least 2 matches not compared to the above teams.
