In the first half of 2025, Vietnamese people spent up to VND 510.6 billion to buy pickleball tools and accessories, an increase of 12 times compared to the same period last year. General figures show that more than 2.4 million products related to this sport have been sold.
In the first quarter of 2025, it reached 228.7 billion dong, nearly equal to the total year 2024, confirming the attraction to explode. Each week, the revenue from Pickleball ranges from 10–25 billion, the highest in early May when reaching 25 billion.
Regarding the order value, consumers mainly choose the segment of less than 1 million. In particular, the group of VND 500,000–750,000 led with more than VND 75 billion in revenue, followed by 200,000–350,000 VND (60 billion) and 350,000–500,000 VND. The two best -selling products are rackets and pickleball shoes for both men and women.
Pickleball, sports combining tennis, badminton and table tennis, is favored by easy to play, suitable for many ages, low cost and high community.
In the US, this is the fastest development of sports, even surpassing tennis in the number of players in some states. A golf game can cost hundreds of dollars, while Pickleball only needs about 80 USD for a few hours, making it more accessible.
In Vietnam, in addition to health factors, Pickleball is also becoming a dynamic lifestyle. Many fashion brands and accessories have quickly caught the trend, launching specialized collections, contributing to the market.
With a strong growth momentum, low access costs and the ability to attract the community, Pickleball is being considered a bright candidate to “usurp” golf and tennis, becoming a new “queen” sport in Vietnam.
