By signing a 5 -year contract with PSG, Zabarnyi went into history as the first Ukrainian player to the representative of the French capital. On the day of launching the new team, Zabarnyi excitedly said: “I am very happy to have become a member of PSG. Come to PSG, I will try to do everything I can to benefit the new team. I am extremely eager to play the first match in the witness of PSG fans.”

Zabarnyi is the second “blockbuster” deal activated by PSG this summer. Before recruiting Zabarnyi, the defending champion Ligue 1 and the Champions League welcomed the Parc des Princes goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier. To get Chevalier, PSG agreed to pay Lille more than 40 million euros.

By winning Chevalier, PSG is likely to transfer the No. 1 goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma in the near future. According to the Daily Mail, Donnarumma is not on the list of PSG players registered for the upcoming European Super Cup match against Tottenham.

The move above means Chevalier will most likely take over the position left by Donnarumma, when PSG compares with Spurs. For his part, Chevalier has just arrived at PSG, so he will have to wait longer to get the PSG debut.

In addition to Zabarnyi, two other popular names left Bournemouth, the left -back Milos Kerkez (to Liverpool) and center -back Dean Huijsen (to Real Madrid).
