The Vietnam Tel striker, Pham Tuan Hai, is facing a great opportunity to join a European team.
The Hanoi Club is actively negotiating with some teams in Latvia to realize the dream of going abroad for striker Pham Tuan Hai. This information was confirmed by the CEO Nguyen Quoc Tuan in the military ceremony of the Capital's team before the V.League 2025/26 season took place on the morning of August 13.
“The Hanoi Club is ready to create conditions for players to play abroad. Tuan Hai also tries hard to practice and competition. Currently, we are actively seeking and considering the options.
On his side, striker Tuan Hai said he always brought in his desire to go abroad to play and would respect when the opportunity came.
“My top goal is still playing abroad. In recent years, I and Hanoi Club have worked with some teams in the Latvia, but because their transfer market is about to close, everything does not happen as expected. However, the Board of Directors and I always talk carefully, if there is a reasonable opportunity, even in the important period of the season, the club is still ready to create this dream.”
The obstacle to the Hanoi and Tuan Hai club is the transfer market in Europe will be closed in early September. The urgent time fund will greatly affect the negotiation process between the parties. V.League 2025/26 will start on August 15, so if the feasible deal, Tuan Hai can still play for the Hanoi Club in the first 3 rounds before going to Europe.
Pham Tuan Hai is currently one of the top strikers of the Hanoi Club and the Vietnamese team. He scored to help Vietnam Tel defeat Thailand in the final round of the AFF Cup 2024, becoming a hero of Vietnamese football.
In addition to the Tuan Hai deal, the Hanoi Club is also promoting to naturalization for Hendrio Da Silva, thereby being able to register him to play as a foreign player in foreign countries in the upcoming season. The capital team aims to win the Cup and V.League 2025/26.
