According to the Daily Mail, MU has no plans to lend Chido Obi after signing a contract with Benjamin Sesko this summer.
The 17 -year -old joined MU in October last year after the impressive scoring achievement for Arsenal with 32 goals after 18 matches at the young level. Chido Obi was awarded the chance to launch the first team by Ruben Amorim in February, and the striker had 8 appearances in all competitions last season.
Obi is a member of the MU Du Du team in the US this summer, he has participated in friendly matches with West Ham and Bournemouth. However, Chido had to sit on the bench in a 2-2 draw with Everton on August 3, as well as the 1-1 draw with Fiorentina at Old Trafford last Saturday.

The appearance of Sesko, Matheus Cuha and Bryan Mbeumo also increased the level of competition in MU's attack, and could be considered a barrier for Chido Obi to have more chances to play in the first team. But according to the Daily Mail, MU currently prioritizes holding the 17 -year -old to stay, they do not consider the moves for him to leave on the form of loan.
MU does not prevent Obi from leaving in any way, but they hope he will stay at Old Trafford in the upcoming season. Speaking on his YouTube channel, former MU center-back, Rio Ferdinand called on the Red Devils to not recruit Dominic Calvert-Lewin on the form of free transfer, and advised his former club to give OBI.
