Jamie Carragher said coach Mikel Arteta is the main reason why midfielder Martin Zubimendi refused Liverpool to Arsenal in the summer of 2025.
Liverpool tried to sign a contract with Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad in the summer, but the Spanish midfielder rejected this offer. Zubimendi finally completed his movement in the early summer, joining Liverpool's opponent Arsenal for about 60 million pounds.
