MU agrees to let Antony leave

According to Mike McGrath of The Telegraph, Real Betis agreed an agreement with MU to sign an Antony contract on loan.

Antony regained his performance with Real Betis in the second half of the 2024/25 season. The 25 -year -old scored 9 goals and 5 assists in 26 matches for La Liga last season, he played an important role to help Manuel Pellegrini's team enter the Europa Conference League final, where they were defeated by Chelsea.

But despite his remarkable revival in Spain, the Board of Directors of MU and coach Ruben Amorim still refused to give the opportunity to this player. Many people believe that Antony is the worst contract in MU history, only scoring a total of 5 goals in the Premier League since moving from Ajax for £ 82 million by 2022.
