Tammy Abraham broke up with Rome, agreed to be a student of Solskjaer


Striker Tammy Abraham decided to leave AS Roma after 4 years of attachment to switch to Türkiye's Besiktas club.

In the summer transfer window in 2021, Tammy Abraham signed a 5 -year contract with AS Roma for a fee of 34 million pounds from Chelsea. Immediately, the British striker scored 27 goals and had 5 assists in all competitions for the Italian team in the 2021/22 season.

However, Abraham's performance gradually decided in the next seasons. As at the end of the 2022/23 season, Tammy Abraham suffered a serious ligament injury, forcing him to quit playing for most of the time of the 2023/24 season.

Having difficulty regaining form after injury, Abraham was borrowed by AS Roma to AC Milan in the 2024/25 season but did not leave much imprint. Returning to Roma after the end of the loan contract with Rossoneri, the former Chelsea striker decided to leave.

Will Abraham shine in Besiktas?

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Abraham has been agreed upon personal agreement in a 5 -year contract with Besiktas. On the Turkish team, Besiktas spent 20 million euros to recruit 27 -year -old striker.

Currently, Besiktas and AS Roma are completing the final procedures before officially announcing the contract. Abraham is now ready to go to Türkiye for medical examination and launched the team currently led by coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Solsa was appointed by Besiktas as the coach in January this year. In the 2024/25 season, the former captain of MU helped Besiktas reach the fourth place in the Turkish league and win tickets to the Europa League 2025/26.

Solsa's priority goal next season is to win the Turkish league championship and help Besiktas successfully play in the European Cup. Therefore, the appearance of Abraham is expected a lot will help Solsa.
