On the morning of June 29, at the WTC Expo International Exhibition Center (Hung Vuong Street, Hoa Phu Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province), the opening ceremony of the 18th Becamex “Becamex Group” Cup Group in 2025 was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong Province, Provincial Football Federation, Becamex IDC Corporation.

The community football tournament of Becamex Cup Group “Becamex Group” in 2025, the predecessor is the Binh Duong new city football tournament of the Cup Becamex IDC held for the first time in 2006 initiated by Becamex Group, with the organization of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong Province, Binh Duong Provincial Football Federation. The tournament was maintained regularly, creating a healthy and practical playground for tens of thousands of civil servants, officials and workers who are living and working in Binh Duong and neighboring provinces and cities, contributing to the development of the football movement in particular and the sports movement in general in the South. Up to now, the tournament has always held a record of the movement football tournament with the largest number of teams participating in the country.
This year's tournament takes place from June 21 to October 19, 2025, attracting 196 teams with nearly 5,000 athletes who are civil servants, officials, workers, and people participating in the competition. The participating teams were divided into a total of 50 competition tables and were held on Saturday and Sunday. Teams of qualifying in 4 clusters including football fields of VSIP 1 industrial park (Thuan An city), Go Dau football field (Thu Dau Mot city), football field of Binh Duong New City Administration Center and My Phuoc Industrial Park Football Power (Ben Cat City). The organizers selected 16 teams with the best performance of 4 clusters to compete in the final round. At the same time, the Organizing Committee awarded the 4 teams with the highest achievements of each cluster, corresponding to the championship team that received a reward of 30 million dong, the second class was rewarded 20 million dong, the third and fourth -class teams were rewarded with 15 million and 10 million dong respectively. For the final team of the tournament, the tournament will receive a prize of VND 100 million, the remaining prizes are VND 60 million, VND 40 million and VND 20 million for the teams that reach the second, third and fourth -class finals. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded personal titles such as excellent goalkeeper, top scorer, ….
The community football tournament of Becamex Group “Becamex Group” is a sports activity with practical meaning, strengthening the spirit of connection, creating a friendly solidarity between units, businesses and localities. With the noble, united and honest sports spirit, from which the tournament has created a healthy and useful playground for health to study, labor and production, and contribute to further developing the physical training and sports movement of Binh Duong province and neighboring provinces and cities. The tournament always receives the attention of fans and the enthusiasm of the agencies, localities, businesses inside and outside the province. Thereby, it is considered to be a movement football tournament with the largest number of teams participating in the country. Becamex IDC is one of the pioneering businesses, always accompanying the province in developing the movement of physical training and sports to improve the health of the people. In addition to organizing the movement football tournament, Becamex IDC also organizes many cultural and arts activities to serve the needs of entertainment for people and workers in the province.
At the opening ceremony of the “Becamex Group” community football group “Becamex Group”, the Vietnam Football Federation announced the decision to award the medal “For the cause of Vietnamese football” to individuals who have achievements in excellent contributions to the football construction and development of Binh Duong province. Accordingly, 3 individuals were honored by the Vietnam Football Federation to commemorate the medal “For the Vietnamese football career”: Mr. Nguyen Van Hung – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Becamex IDC Corporation; Mr. Vu Duc Thanh – Chairman of the Football Federation of Binh Duong Province and Mr. Cao Van Choi – Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province. These are typical individuals, with many positive contributions throughout the history of the development of Binh Duong football in particular and Vietnamese football in general.
