The decision to supplement the urgent personnel came after Al Hilal lost three pillars in the attack: Aleksandar Mitrovic, Marcos Leonardo and Salem al-Dawsari were injured. According to FIFA's regulations, teams are allowed to register to replace players within 48 hours before each match, provided that the reasons come from injury.

“We really need to strengthen forces, and I am sure he will help the team”coach Simone Inzaghi shared about Hamdallah before Fluminense encounter at Camping World Stadium, Orlando.

The deal only became a reality after the Saudi Arabia Football Federation decided to push the summer transfer soon to July 3, instead of July 20 as the original plan, paving the way for Al Hilal to promptly register Hamdallah.
