Arsenal does not take time in the journey to search for the first Premier League title since 2004, with a summer overhaul can reach nearly £ 300 million.
Mikel Arteta has brought the gunner to second three consecutive season – but has not won any major titles since 2020. However, that may change in the 2024/25 season, when the North London team finally sought to solve the problem of attack power in the center.
Since Arteta succeeded Unai Emery at Emirates in December 2019, he has not signed a contract with a real striker. Gabriel Jesus was mainly used as a winger at Man City before being tasked with leading Arsenal in 2022.
However, Arsenal eventually seemed to have found the number 9 they were missing, when Talkshort stated that the Sporting Lisbon's striker Viktor Gyokeres was on the way from Portugal. An agreement worth up to £ 69 million is being conducted for the Swedish player, who will become Arsenal's next outstanding contract in this transfer.
Arsenal recently announced the recruitment of midfielder Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad on Sunday for £ 55 million. Zubimendi is the second contract confirmed by the club this summer, after the Spanish compatriot dealer Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea for £ 5 million.
Captain Brentford, Christian Norgaard is also preparing to move to Arsenal in a deal that can be up to £ 15 million to create competition for Zubimendi. Arsenal also determined Valencia's young talent, Cristhian Mosquera – was priced at £ 17 million – as a backup plan for star -backs of star William Saliba.
And not only Gyokeres is the name Arsenal targeted in attack – they are also pursuing Crystal Palace's Eberchi Eze as a cheaper left wing option than Real Madrid's Rodrygo. Eze, who has a £ 68 million contract release provision, has organized a negotiation with the team in the Champions League semi -final about returning to the club – where he was eliminated in 2011.
Arsenal has also reached an individual agreement with Chelsea's winged striker Noni Madueke – England can play on both wings. A price of about 60 million pounds may be enough to convince Chelsea to sell this player, and that can make Arsenal cost up to £ 289 million in just one transfer.
With the possibility of up to seven first team players, TalkSport sketched the squad that Arsenal could use when confronted with Man United in the opening round of the 2025/26 season.
With two consecutive Premier League gold gloves, David Raya will almost certainly catch it, while Kepa will have to wait for the opportunity. The right defender is likely to belong to Jurrien Timber, provided that he recovered on schedule after ankle surgery.
Products from Hale End furnace, Myles Lewis-Skelly, who has just signed a long-term contract, will kick on the opposite wing instead of Riccardo Calafiori. Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba will once again form a steel couple in the center of the defense, after contributing to help Arsenal are the team to concede at least in the last two seasons.
With Thomas Partey and Jorginho leaving after the contract expires, Zubimendi will be arranged to play as the only team midfielder. Captain Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice will continue to take on the role of a shuttle in the middle, pushing Ethan Nwaneri and Mikel Merino to the bench.
On the right wing, Bukayo Saka will almost certainly be chosen instead of Madueke, if his teammates in England join the team in London Colney. But on the opposite wing, there may be a new face that kicks Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard. Despite being an attacking midfielder in Palace, Eze may be played with a trio in Arsenal strikers.
And leading the attack almost certainly Viktor Gyokeres, if Arsenal completed the deal to recruit him. With 97 goals after 102 matches for Sporting, the expectation of the 27 -year -old striker is huge.
And nothing is better to score with Arsenal fans by “shooting” before the rival Man United in his debut, where he could mark his reunion with his former coach Ruben Amorim.
