Bayer Leverkusen has reached an agreement to recruit midfielder Malik Tillman from PSV Eindhoven, closing a close -to -track deal in the summer transfer window 2025.
According to many reputable sources from Transfermarkt, Voetbalzone and FotbollTransfers, the fee that Leverkusen spent on about 15 million euros, not to mention additional surcharges.
Tillman joined PSV from Bayern Munich last summer on loan, then was activated by the Dutch team. However, after an impressive season, the 22 -year -old has attracted the attention of many big teams, of which Bayer Leverkusen is the fastest action team.
Although Bayern retained the priority of acquisition, the Bavaria team decided not to interfere in this deal, enabling Tillman to turn to a higher competitive environment.
Last season, Malik Tillman was one of the important links that helped PSV win the Eredivisie championship. With the ability to handle the ball flexibly, good tactical thinking and the ability to finish from the second line, Tillman is considered a modern midfielder in accordance with the attack philosophy of coach Erik Ten Hag at Leverkusen.
The player born in 2002 is also a key member of the US Tel. Despite being criticized for the shootout in the match at the Gold Cup, Tillman still shows the bravery and high performance throughout the team's journey in recent international tournaments. He also played for the young German levels before deciding to wear a US team.
With the recruitment of Tillman, Bayer Leverkusen continued to consolidate the depth of the squad in order to dispute the throne of the Bundesliga and go further in the Champions League next season. Earlier, they had the first rookie, goalkeeper Mark Flekken, recruiting from Brentford and the second rookie, center -back Jarell Quanusah from Liverpool.
This is also a big turning point in Tillman's career, helping him to assert himself in one of the highest football environments in Europe.
This deal marks a double victory for Leverkusen: Not only recruits a promising young talent, but also defeats the competition from many other big teams in the region. Malik Tillman promises to be a potential piece for Leverkusen in the coming years.
