Bayern Munich is willing to propose a 5 -year contract for Luis Diaz in the context of Liverpool's winger is open to leaving.
According to Florian Plettenberg, Bayern is ready to ask Diaz a long -term contract to 2029 or 2030 when the Bundesliga champion enhances the interest in Liverpool's winger between competition from Barcelona.
Diaz is willing to leave Anfield this summer if there is an appropriate offer and he knows about the specific interest from Bayern. However, at present, there has been no agreement between the Bavaria team and the Colombian player, as well as no official negotiations began between Bayern and Liverpool. Although previously rejected the offer, Liverpool was still willing to sell Diaz if they received suggestions of about 70–80 million euros.
Earlier on Friday, Bild reported that Die Roten made an initial offer worth 52 million euros – much lower than the £ 68 million valuation of The Reds. This is not an easy summer for Vincent Kompany's team, when they lost to Liverpool in the race to win Florian Wirtz. Their efforts to sign the young talent Nick Woltemade of Stuttgart also did not go anywhere after the offer of 40 million euros was rejected.
However, with nearly two months before the transfer window closed, Bayern may hope to have a successful shopping summer. In recent days, they have contacted names like Eberechi Eze, Xavi Simons and Christopher Nkunku to consolidate the attack.
As for Diaz, there is still a need to see where the future of the 28 -year -old will go in the 2025/26 season and further. While Bayern is interested, Barcelona is also promoting signing a contract with Diaz, especially after failing with Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao.
