The Chelsea Club homepage confirmed the sale of midfielder Kernan Dewsbury-Hall to Everton.
“Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall left Chelsea and completed the official transfer procedure to the Everton club of the English Premier League,” Chelsea's homepage issued a notice.
“Kiernan joined Chelsea from Leicester in the summer of 2024 and the 26-year-old midfielder had 36 appearances in all competitions last season. Dewsbury-Hall left Chelsea as a European and world champion, a member of the group winning the Conference League as well as FIFA Club World Cup.
We thank Kiernan for his efforts during Chelsea and wish him all the best when starting a new chapter in his career, “the announcement from the Chelsea homepage wrote more.
This can be considered as Chelsea's capital breakdown, because they used to spend £ 30 million to recruit Dewsbury-hall from Leicester and also earned a sum of 25 million pounds plus 4 million fees when pushing him to Everton. Dewsbury-Hall is on the list of 15 redundant team players that BLD Chelsea wants to liquidate and is Everton's sixth contract in the summer transfer period after Therno Barry, Carlos Alcaraz, Adam Aznou and Mark Trivers.
“To be honest, I am very excited, my family is the same. Everyone is really excited about this. I feel very happy,” Dewsbury-Hall said after joining Everton.
“Everton is one of the largest clubs in the country, and I think that in the next few years, their future will be very bright. Finally, the decision to come here and play for this team is an easy decision. It only gave me more motivation and determination to prove to people, to prove my opinion and to have a real time of success here,” the 26 -year -old midfielder said.
Referring to his latest contract, coach David Moyes shared: “We are very happy when Kernan decided to join Everton. There are many other teams interested in signing a contract with Kiernan, but he is very excited with the opportunity and challenge at Everton. The quality and experience of Kiernan in the Premier League gives us hopefully he can quickly adapt. And I believe that all NHM Everton will support him wholeheartedly. “
