MU's Dusan Vlahovic striker plan is at risk of breaking down when the Serbian player is in favor of the plan to join AC Milan instead of going to Old Trafford.
The Serbian striker has long been on MU's target list, even before Ruben Amorim led the club. After spending 62.5 million pounds to recruit Maheus Cunha, MU wanted to add a high -class, experienced striker but had to spend too much money.
Therefore, Vlahovic is considered the perfect piece in the reconstruction under Ruben Amorim. Even Juventus is willing to use Vlahovic in exchange for Jadon Sancho.
However, according to Italian media, the 25 -year -old striker prioritized to stay in Serie A and achieved great progress with AC Milan, in case the agreement terminated the contract with Juventus this summer. La Gazzetta dello Sport also confirmed the Vlahovic deal to San Siro “finished 90%”.
Recently, MU has also been “offered” to a series of strikers who are not having new stops like Jamie Vardy, Callum Wilson or Dominic Calvert-Lewin. However, the MU leadership refused because these names were not suitable for the football philosophy of Amorim coach. If at the end of the summer transfer period 2025 that MU could not own a name that was too quality, they could think of Calvert-Lewin as a backup plan because this player was younger than Vardy and was also able to make an impressive wall.
Earlier, MU pursued Viktor Gyokeres but the price was too high, and the Swedish striker just wanted to wear Arsenal. At the same time, MU also tried to close the price with Brentford for the Bryan Mbeumo deal. Currently, MU has cost £ 60 million to buy Mbeumo but the Brentford side insists on claiming £ 62.5 million. So far, the Red Devils have not offered the third price.
In the opposite direction, Old Trafford is about to welcome a strong wave of purification of forces. Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia are all announced to find new stops this summer.
