On the morning of July 28, 2025, at Binh Duong Sports Training and Competition Center (Vo Van Kiet Street, Binh Duong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the opening ceremony of the 39th National Road Bicycle Championship and national terrain.
The tournament is organized by the Vietnam Sports Department, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports in collaboration with the Vietnam Bicycle and Sports Federation, attracting more than 250 athletes from 12 provinces and cities and branches across the country to attend.

The 39th National Road and Terrain Bicycle Championship takes place from July 28 to August 7, 2025, whereby the content of the road bicycle is held at the roads of Binh Duong, Hoa Loi, Ben Cat, Tan Uyen and the communes of Bau Bang, Phu Giao, Bac Tan Uyen; The content of the terrain bike is held in Dau Tieng commune – Ho Chi Minh City. This year's tournament attracts more than 250 athletes from 12 provincial and cities with strong bicycle movements across the country such as Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Son La, An Giang, Vinh Long, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Military Army, Ho Chi Minh City 1 and Ho Chi Minh City 2 (current athletes are managed by the Binh Duong Provincial Training and Sports Training Center).
The athletes compete in 14 male contents such as: 40km personal score, 40km personal time, 70km team time, 500m speed, relay bronze tape (xcp), individual Olympic bronze tapes and teammates (XCO), … and 14 female contents such as personal points 30km, individual hour calculation 30km, colleagues 50km, individual and personal colleague, etc. The athletes have excitedly competed for the content of 30km for female points, 40km for male points.
At the tournament, the topography content was first held in Dau Tieng commune, a commune away from the center of Ho Chi Minh City. It is known that before the tournament took place, the Organizing Committee coordinated with localities and relevant units to actively prepare, organize the pre -examination team to carefully review the work, assign detailed, methodical and scientific. With experience, the capacity has held many major sporting events in Ho Chi Minh City as well as Binh Duong before, the 39th National Road Bike and Terrain Championship in 2025 promises to be operated professionally, bringing fans of quality and attractive competition.
The tournament is not only a sports activity that contributes to improving the spiritual cultural life for the people but also an opportunity to promote tourism potential, introduce the new culture, image and face of Ho Chi Minh City after the merger. This year's national road bicycle and terrain championship is also an important opportunity for excellent riders to compete as well as help units review forces and prepare for the international arena, including the 33th SEA Games held in Thailand later this year.
