Galatasaray has officially completed the blockbuster contract with Victor Osimhen from Napoli, making the Nigerian striker the most expensive deal in Turkey's history.

The defending champion Super Lig accepted to spend up to 75 million euros to own Victor Osimhen on a permanent transfer. This is the highest fee ever paid by a Turkish club, far exceeding the old record that Fenerbahce set in July last year when recruiting Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla for 20 million euros.

Galatasaray announced that they had signed a 4 -year contract with Osimhen, starting from the 2025/26 season. Accordingly, the former striker Napoli will receive a net salary of 15 million euros per season, accompanied by a loyalty of 1 million euros and 5 million euros of the annual image copyright.
In addition, Napoli still holds benefits in this deal when it will receive 10% transfer fee from any future Osimhen selling in the future.
Osimhen impressed the last season when wearing Galatasaray on loan from Napoli. He set a record of the most goals in a Super Lig season with 26 goals and became a foreign player with the most goals in a season in Türkiye with a total of 37 goals in all competitions.
Before making a mark in Istanbul, Osimhen used to play for Lille (France), Wolfsburg (Germany) and Napoli (Italy). At the national team level, he also scored 26 goals after 40 caps of Nigeria.
