Jack Greealish leaves Man City to join a premier League 'big man'

Jack Greealish is expected to leave Man City this summer to move to another club in the Premier League, when his future at Etihad became increasingly precarious.

Greealish almost no future in Man City

The 29 -year -old midfielder only played a supporting role in Man City last season and almost will definitely break up with the team after being eliminated from the list of 27 players attending the Club World Cup of Pep Guardiola – along with Kyle Walker.

According to the BBC Sport, many big clubs in Europe have begun to show interest in Greealish. In the UK, teams like Tottenham, Everton, Newcastle and the old team Aston Villa are said to be potential destinations. Meanwhile, Napoli – Serie A champion – is also closely monitoring his situation.

Tottenham is particularly called to recruit Grealish as a potential alternative to Son Heung-min, who is receiving a “terrible” offer from Saudi Pro League before the new season.

In an interview with Betway, former striker Tottenham – Robbie Keane – explained why Grealish is an ideal contract with “rooster” into London: “I really like Jack. I think he is a great player and very suitable for Tottenham's football style – full of techniques and creativity”, Keane – currently the head coach of Ferencvaros Club (Hungary) – Share. “I really thought he could integrate into the Tottenham squad, whether it was the left wing, the number 8 attacked or No. 10. I really hope that deal happened.”

Greealish has quite a lot of stops to choose from

Many experts and former players spoke about the future of Grealish. Paul Scholes – the legend of Man United – said that it was time for him to return to Aston Villa after the team won tickets to the Europa League.

“I think that Grealish is not launched in the FA Cup final is a clear sign that it's time for him to leave,” Scholes shared with TNT Sports. “He needs a place to restart his career. We all know how talented Greealish is, but over the past few years is an erratic series of days.”

“Witness a young player like Claudio Echeverri given the opportunity to go to the front yard is definitely a big shock to Grealish. It's a painful time. I think breaking up is good for both sides. Why does he not return to Aston Villa?”

The legendary Alan Shearer also agreed to speak on Podcast The Rest is Football: “He has to leave. When Pep chose to bring a young player to debut and Gundogan on the pitch instead of Grealish at the time Man City needed a goal, that said all – his time in Man City was over.”
