Striker Jhon Duran is expected to sign a contract with Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce Club this weekend. The remuneration that Duran received was expected to be higher than what ever received at Al Nassr.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Fenerbahce reached an agreement with Al Nassr about the transfer of striker Jhon Duran. The terms between the three parties have been agreed after a few weeks of active negotiation.
This was a rather unexpected deal because Duran only joined Al Nassr earlier this year. The Colombian striker can fly to Türkiye to sign a contract with Fenerbahce on Sunday.
Duran is a very quality addition to Fenerbahce when they are determined to successfully play in the 2025/26 season after not meeting the expectations of the first season led by Jose Mourinho.
According to Foot Mercato, Duran agreed to join Fenerbahce on the form of loan lasting a season. Notably, the Turkish team is expected to pay Duran's salary even higher than the Al Nassr Club.
Duran signed a 5.5 -year contract with Al Nassr, receiving a salary of more than 335,000 pounds per week but to Fenerbahce, he is likely to have an income of more than £ 400,000 per week.
Duran's name has emerged for 2 years wearing Aston Villa and is considered the future of Colombia football. Last season, Duran scored 12 goals in 18 appearances for Al Nassr, the achievement was not bad.
However, according to Saudi Arabia media, the striker is facing some problems in adapting to the new environment and even having to serve the elderly superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. Therefore, Al Nassr decided to let Duran go to Fenerbahce.
