Malaysian badminton legend, Lee Chong Wei has surprised the fan community and excited when appearing in a clip of playing sports sports.
Despite having left the professional badminton field for a long time, the style and skills of the player who held the world's number one in 348 weeks in a row still made viewers admire.
The video posted on social networks records the moment Lee Chong Wei played Pickleball. As soon as it appeared, the Malaysian legend impressed with the delicate ball handling, flexible movement speed and technical shots.
Fans quickly realized his “peak hand”, the weapon used to help Lee Chong Wei storm the world's leading badminton tournaments. Many fans left excited comments such as: “The legendary player is here,” “Despite changing the subject, the reflexes and skills are still class”, or “Lee Chong Wei who plays a professional pickleball, who can stop it?”.
Lee Chong Wei has won a total of 69 international titles in his career, including 3 Olympic gold medals (2008, 2012, 2016) and 4 times in the world runner -up. He announced his retirement in 2019 after treating nose cancer, closing his illustrious but regretful career for never winning the world championship or Olympic.
However, Lee Chong Wei's sporty love has never stopped. After retiring, he actively participated in many sports promotion activities in Malaysia and internationally. Appearing with Pickleball shows that he still wants to spread the spirit of movement and inspire the younger generation.
